With delicious flavours of vanilla, orange, maple, cinnamon and spice, baking this granola will fill your house with the smell of Christmas. For the perfect gift, fill your favourite jars with granola and tie them with a big bow, everyone will be sure to love it!
Ingredients
1/2 cup pure maple syrup Juice and zest of one orange 1 tbsp vanilla bean paste
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 tbsp ground ginger
1 tsp mixed spice
1 tsp cinnamon
3 cups rolled oats
1 cup almonds, chopped roughly
1/2 cup pecans, chopped roughly
2 tbsp hemp seeds
Method

Preheat oven to 180 degrees, line a baking tray.

Add maple syrup, orange juice, orange zest, vanilla, olive oil, ginger, mixed spice and cinnamon to a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer over low heat for 5 minutes.

Add oats, almonds, pecans and hemp seeds to a large bowl and stir until combined. Pour in the wet ingredients and mix thoroughly.

Pour the mix on to the baking tray and bake for 30 minutes, stirring halfway through. Allow to cool completely then transfer to jars. Tie with a bow and enjoy!
Notes
Granola will last for up to 1 month in an airtight jar in the pantry or 3 months refrigerated.
