Avocado

It’s no secret that avocado is highly nutritious, and whilst you probably don’t need to be told all the reasons why you should be eating more of this delicious fruit, avocados are packed with folate, vitamin C and K, and plenty of fibre which helps prevent constipation and bloating.

Yoghurt

Yoghurt is filled with probiotics, a beneficial bacteria that plays a key role in your gut health. Probiotics can improve the frequency and consistency of your bowel movements, and reduce bloating.

Berries

Your favourite berries like strawberries and blueberries are packed with antioxidants, vitamins and minerals, as well as fibre which will improve your gut health.

Bananas

Highly nutritious, bananas are a great source of fibre and potassium, which will help prevent bloating and water retention.

Steamed/Sauteed Greens

It turns out that making friends with salad might not always be the best alternative for your stomach. Too many raw vegetables, especially heavy, leafy greens like kale can be hard for your body to digest, so try sometimes swapping your fresh greens out for lightly steamed or sautéed greens.
